Sarah Gullikson is a Customer Service Representative at CARSTAR Northwest Collision Center Kirkland in Kent Washington and has been volunteering for iCare (a nonprofit organization) since 2016.

” We go to Jamacia (and other parts of the Caribbean) to provide health screenings and eye exams to the people. I haven’t gone since 2019 so I am really excited to return back this year. It’s an amazing experience and I highly recommend this organization to anyone who is willing to lend a helping hand. ”

On her return she wrote: ” I wanted to share a little about my volunteer trip. It’s nice to be home but I already miss that Jamaican sunshine. We saw close to 1,400 patients in 4 days and will be custom making roughly 800 prescriptions glasses in the states and will be back in February to dispense. We would have seen more people but unfortunately we closed for a day due to a tropical storm (everyone was safe). I took hundreds of pictures … I picked a few to share.
