Paul Lopez has been with Puget Collision since its founding in September 2022. With over 27 years of experience in the collision repair industry, Paul began his career as a Paint Prepper and steadily advanced through the ranks. Today, he plays a critical role in overseeing paint material profitability, technician training and support, and managing product usage and APL (Approved Product List) compliance.

Paul embodies Puget Collision’s core value of Gratitude. He is honored by the trust placed in him and takes pride in the opportunity to contribute meaningfully—not only to the organization’s success but also to the development of individuals within the team.

Before joining Puget Collision, Paul served as a Lead Painter at a large-scale MSO (Multi-Shop Operator), where he gained extensive experience in APL management, paint product application, and inventory control. In this role, he trained numerous Preppers across the greater Seattle area, helping them grow into self-sufficient painters. His exposure to various paint lines across multiple locations has equipped him with the insight to identify the best products and services—an asset that proved invaluable during Puget Collision’s RFP negotiations.

Paul is highly accomplished in collaborating with both internal and external teams to help Puget Collision exceed its profitability goals. He is skilled at identifying operational challenges and working cross-functionally to implement effective solutions, including product testing and evaluating cutting-edge material technologies.

His certifications include I-CAR Platinum, BASF Certification, and ARCS Training. Paul is a lifelong learner, committed to continuous personal and professional growth.
